Atos Research & Innovation and VideoCells Receive EU Approval for an FP7 Multi Year Project

VideoCells Ltd., a leading provider of WebVR® (Web Video Recorder), hosted security camera solutions, has announced today (March 19, 2008) that the European Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) has approved a 1.8 million Euros e-Inclusion project, proposed by VideoCells and Atos Research & Innovation, a department of Atos Origin, together with six leading European organizations. The project will be coordinated by Atos Origin with VideoCells providing the technical management for the project and the technological framework.

The ComeIn project is intended to research the validity of creating a mobile, data-rich, online community for marginalised youths. "Being one of only 5 companies from Israel, to date, who have received EU approval for an FP7 project, proves the strong positioning of VideoCells as a leading global provider of video software products." Stated Mr. Itai Ben-Dor, VideoCells' CEO "We would like to thank Atos Origin for taking the lead in the project and for their assistance in creating the consortium and in formulating the proposal". The other six participants in the project which was initiated by VideoCells include; Inclusion Trust (UK), DramaWorks (Germany), STVG (Austria), Fondazione IARD (Italy), Mobiltel (Bulgaria), Centre for Social Innovation (Austria).
